1. Slow down your rhythm of life:

Spending more times being surrounded by friends, family, co-workers, and people in your community can have positive effects on mental well-being and improve your ability to cope with stressful situations. Meanwhile, it is easy to be caught in a spiral and commit to so many things that you have no more time for yourself. Remember to respect yourself by saying no when necessary, so you can do something you really enjoy and helps you relax. Go for a walk, take a massage or read a book… When you are doing something you can enjoy, your mind becomes more relaxed.
3. Stop comparing yourself to others
Believe it or not, one of the easiest ways to feel bad is to start comparing yourself unfavourably to other people. Comparing your accomplishments with others’ is a losing battle. There is always someone out there who is more successful, makes higher accomplishments, has more wealth, and seems to enjoy life better than you do. Every individual has a unique ability, and that is why you are important in your community or office. When you feel bad, remember that there are also people who are less fortunate than you are, and that should make you more grateful. 4. Introduce simple changes in your lifestyle
“if you continue doing what you used to do, you will continue getting what you use to get”. If your lifestyle is making you experience stress and anxiety, it may be time to reflect on what is not working for you and make some changes. If you are not very active, introduce some physical exercise as simple as walking or simple yoga that helps you relax, you can make the time for 5 minutes meditation, relaxation or breathing exercise. Journaling and reflecting on yourself may help put things in perspective and express your emotions.
